Gathering Documentation
Once you have decided which visa is best for you, its time to start getting your documents ready as this can take months. This is an important step but the documentation required will vary by visa, length of stay, occupation or country of origin. This includes proof of an English language test, we can help with this and documentation through our partners throughout the UK.
You may also be asked for a police certificate, job offer, university offer and medical exams. It is best to start these as early as possible and start gathering them in advance of your application.
Applying for your visa
Once you have selected your visa and gathered the relevant documentation, it is time to apply on the government website. Applications can be complex requiring personal information alongside supporting documents, this is to prove your identity. Normally biometrics are required which is having your fingerprints and photograph taken at a local visa application centre. Once you have applied online, proven your identify and provided all documents required, you should get a decision within 3 weeks.
